Giacomo obtained his PhD in Physics in 2003 (cum laude) at the University of Trento, Italy. He is currently Director of Research at CNR-INO, Italy, and holds visiting scientist positions in the USA, Mexico, and Brazil. His interests regard quantum simulation with strongly-correlated atomic Fermi systems.
